Thank You

Supporting and helping homeless men and women in Romford and the surrounding areas.

Thank you

We wouldn’t be anywhere without the kind consideration from people and companies happy to offer help and support.

In December 2019, we had an amazing donation of gifts from a kind member from our Facebook group who runs a nursery. Alongside her staff and the kids, they put together gift bags and boxes, on Christmas Eve we dressed up and handed out presents to all the homeless.

Tandoori Lounge in Hornchurch kindly held a charity Quiz night in honor of Friends of the Homeless back in February 2020.

During the COVID-19 crisis I was approached by CO-OP who were looking at donating, we went out to meet them and were given loads of great items. More then we needed so some where taken to Queens Hospital and King George Hospital for the staff.

  • Co Op
  • Sainsburys
  • MOD Pizza
  • Greggs
  • Tesco

All the companies above were able to help in different ways. Sainsburys gave us gift vouchers to buy items needed, MOD pizza made everyone’s night with fresh hot pizza and Tesco donates all unsold food for us to collect which we distribute that same day.

It may only seem like a little thing but it has helped us tremendously.

We also would like to send a very special thank you to Councillor Darren Wise and Counciller Brian Eagling on behalf of Harold Wood, Hill Park Residents Association who donated towards our community group. They were extremely kind to give us help and advise on how we can set up our community group on companies house.
